Celebrating a New, Modern Wastewater Treatment Plant for our Community

On Tuesday, September 21, 2021, about 75 guests participated in an outdoor ribbon-cutting ceremony and plaque dedication for Sausalito Marin-City Sanitary District’s (SMCSD’s) upgrade wastewater treatment plant.

Participants included residents and leaders from the City of Sausalito, National Park Service, Tamalpais Community Services District, Marin Supervisor Stephanie Moulton-Peters office, SMCSD Board and staff, and vendors involved with the project.

Following the ceremony, guests toured the upgraded treatment facility and attended a reception.
